CHRIST FOR YOUTH INTERNATIONAL

Lead by Serving

Christ for Youth International

“But let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the LORD.” [Jeremiah 9:24 ESV]

God has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. (1 Peter 4:10)

The first mention of man/woman is found in the word of God, this is just to emphasize the truth that man/woman can only flourish both here and in eternity when we abide in Christ. The only effort God requires from us is to daily yield to Him in intimacy and obey His commands, in that we are well-equipped to serve people around us to please the Father.

“The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.”[Psalm 19:8b]

The character of our leadership is honed by constant fellowship with God and others. The mark of greatness according to God’s standards is service. By default, when we daily dwell in the presence of God, our hearts transform into His very nature; serving in love to make the lives of others better in Christ.

Our greatest desire as God’s creation is to live to please Him. A life of service is a sure way through which we can show our gratitude to God for His unfailing love towards us. Living a life of service cannot be achieved wishfully, it requires a deliberate effort to move from our comfort zone and diligently give our lives to be a blessing to others. Thankfully, we have the gift of the Holy Spirit to help lead us in the right direction to serve.

We must always abide in the Lord to know we can daily expand His Kingdom according to the measure of grace He’s given us. We exist because God believes in and is counting on us to impact the world in His name.

Dear Lord, thank You for Your unfailing love and grace. Please help me to continually seek your will and abide in you so I can learn how to love and serve others and also help in expanding Your Kingdom. Amen!
